Let’s Talk Inflammation with Bowmar Nutrition:

Inflammation can be a pain, whether it is  in your joints and tendons or your gut andarteries. Inflammation can be uncomfortable, painful or just annoying!


Gut inflammation: this can be triggered by many things including different foods that you may either be allergic to, or just don’t sit right and are hard for you to digest. For example: raw fruits and vegetables, processed foods, gluten, high fiber foods, spicy foods, etc. are all inflammatory foods. These aren’t foods that are necessarily bad, but they can have different affects on some people, causing inflammation in the stomach and intestines.. Our digestive system can be very sensitive and it is important to listen to our bodies.


Remedies: Try eating certain foods that can help ease the inflammation such as: nuts (almonds, hazelnuts and walnuts) Green vegetables (spinach, kale, arugula), olive oil and some fruits! Try staying away from the foods that cause inflammation in your gut. It may help to try testing out a few foods to see how they affect you.
