Brownies for breakfast? DON’T MIND IF WE DO!
Growing up, most of us were probably told you can’t have dessert for breakfast, but we’re proving otherwise with this recipe! You’re going to have to just trust us when we say these are to be made IMMEDIATELY. Don’t hesitate — just save, serve up, and SAVOR.
What You Need:
- 1 Protein Fudge Brownie
- 1 scoop of Protein Powder (your choice — we used S’mores)
- 1 whole egg
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp applesauce
- Optional: maple syrup
Directions:
- Fire up your waffle maker.
- In a Bowmar Blender, add in the water, egg, baking powder, applesauce, and protein powder. Blend well so there are no chunks then set aside.
- Cut your Protein Brownie in 2-4 pieces and slightly smoosh each one.
- Push a popsicle stick into each piece of brownie.
- Pour the waffle batter into a tall glass and proceed to dip the brownie into the waffle batter (coating both sides).
- Place in your waffle maker, pour a smidge of the batter on top, and cook until both sides are beautifully golden brown. You may need to push down slightly so the brownie lays flat.
- Drizzle with maple syrup if you’re feeling up to it.
- ENJOY!
Let us know what you think if you try these. We’ll be the first to say they are an easy 10/10. You’ll never want to do breakfast any other way!
