Hi, I'm Ellie Pontoriero! I'm from Cheyenne, WY, and grew up on a ranch raising horses, cattle, and goats. Coming from an Agricultural background, I pursued a degree in Agribusiness and now work for the United States Department of Agriculture.
I've been using Bowmar Nutrition since 2018 and have been fortunate enough to be a Bowmar Nutrition Athlete since October of 2020. The very first product I tried was Bowmar's protein powder and I have been using it almost every single day since! Being an avid coffee lover, my number one way to incorporate the protein powder into my daily routine, is to add a scoop to my morning coffee in place of creamer. Some of my other favorite ways to add Protein in are to make homemade ice cream, bread machine donuts, overnight oats, waffles, cookies....the options are endless!
You just can't beat the different flavors Bowmar Nutrition offers. My top three to use in protein coffee are hot chocolate, cookies and cream, and hazelnut coffee. S'mores takes the cake for my number one when making protein ice cream. But seriously, ALL the flavors make it super fun and easy to hit your protein goals and you can't go wrong with any of them!
If you need some inspo on a different way to get your protein in besides a protein shake, here's a super easy iced latte recipe to try:
- Brew coffee
- Let cool for 5 minutes or add 1 ice cube
- Mix in 1 scoop of protein powder (flavor of your choice)
- Add a hand full of ice
- Top with desired amount of milk
