After the release of our Anxiety Relief Drops and Adrenal Support Drops, y’all had questions. Below we have answered the most frequently asked questions regarding these two products:
What do they taste like?
There is no added flavor to either one of the drops. Full transparency – they do NOT taste good. It’s a small price to pay for the BIG benefits that they each have to offer.
What’s the difference between the two?
Anxiety Relief Drops contain anti-stress and anti-anxiety properties to improve the body’s stress response and promote calmness (more of a temporary stress relief). Whereas, Adrenal Support works more on a hormonal level to improve adrenal function, which, in turn, helps fight fatigue and reduce stress long term.
It should be noted that some people have healthy adrenals, but terrible anxiety. This is an example of where Anxiety Relief Drops would be used instead of Adrenal Support.
How do you take them?
They should both be taken orally. Ideally, it’s best if the drops are placed under the tongue and held there for a few seconds; however, given that they don’t exactly “tickle your tastebuds” in a good way it is okay to mix them with other supplements, in other liquids, or with food.
Can you take them with other Bowmar Nutrition supplements?
As we just mentioned, yes, you can take them with other supplements. Please keep in mind that for the best results, they should be placed under the tongue.
How much do you take?
On each bottle you’ll find the “directions for use.” They do differ.
Anxiety Relief – we recommend 10-20 drops, 2-3x per day or as needed.
Adrenal Support – we recommend 5-10 drops per day. The needs will vary depending on stress levels.
When is the best time to take these?
Anxiety Relief: should be consumed 2-3x per day or as needed. We’d suggest starting and ending the day with them at the very minimum, but you can also take them when you are starting to feel stressed, about to be in a stressful situation, etc.
Adrenal Support: can be consumed 1-2x per day (max of 10 drops total). Again, we would suggest starting and ending the day with them to promote relaxation when you start your day and are winding down for bed.
Can you take both Anxiety Relief AND Adrenal Support drops?
Yes, you can take both as they are two different products.
Will they make me sleepy?
Neither one will make you feel drowsy or have brain fog. You get to reap the incredible benefits these all-natural herb extracts have to offer without the unpleasant side effects!
Are they safe to take while pregnant or breastfeeding?
We recommend consulting with your doctor prior to taking any supplements while pregnant or breastfeeding. Keep in mind the supplement facts are listed on our website under each product page if you’d like to refer to them before and at your next OB appointment. With that being said, neither of the drops should be used while pregnant, but if approved by your doctor are safe for breastfeeding.
Are there any ingredients that would counteract medications?
Yes. PLEASE CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE USING EITHER OF THESE DROPS IF YOU ARE TAKING OTHER MEDICATIONS. We cannot stress this enough. Some of the herbs included in these formulas can interact with medication.
Can my kids take one or both of them?
We do not suggest giving your children any supplements unless they are approved by your family doctor. With that being said, Adrenal Support is not meant for kids under 12, but Anxiety Relief can be given to kids 6-12 (once approved).
