Breakfast with Bowmar French Toast Collagen

We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so join me for breakfast ideas with Bowmar French Toast Collagen

The flavor is next level. Every sip tastes as if you've just sunken your teeth into golden-brown slices of pillowy bread topped with melted butter, warm maple syrup and subtle hints of cinnamon. That’s no exaggeration. But what really does it for me is ALL the different ways you can enjoy it. Let’s dive in and explore some of my favorites: 

Pump up your java: 

You can start skipping your trips to the coffee shop because as soon as you try collagen proffee, you’ll want to enjoy your own at-home creations! For those of you that don't know what "collagen proffee" is, I’d describe it as being a magical elixir that combines the healing properties of collagen with the energy-boosting benefits of coffee.  

Each scoop of our collagen is packed with 20g of grass-fed bovine collagen that dissolves in hot or cold coffee, so you won't even know it's there, outside of the incredible flavor it adds. Fold into pancake/waffle batter:

Not a coffee person? No problem! This is a tried and true way to enjoy French Toast Collagen because who doesn’t love pancakes and/or waffles? If you don’t, we got beef, but we can talk about that later.

This makes for a STACKED breakfast anyone will love, even your kids and spouse that claims they “don’t like any protein powders.” All you need is:

1 scoop of Bowmar French Toast Collagen

1 whole egg

½ tsp baking powder

1 tbsp unsweetened applesauce or greek yogurt (helps keep them moist)

Optional: dash of cinnamon and ½ tsp vanilla extract

Directions for waffles: 

  • Combine the ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  • Pour the batter into your waffle maker. 
  • Cook until both sides are golden brown and crispy. Your waffle making most likely has a setting that tells you when it’s done.
  • Top with peanut butter, fresh fruit, syrup, or whatever else you’d prefer and ENJOY! 

Directions for pancakes: 

  • Combine the ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  • Pour the batter onto a griddle or frying pan. 
  • Cook until both sides are golden brown.
  • Top as you see fit and ENJOY! 

It doesn’t get much easier OR TASTIER (actually it might be able to – these next ideas are *chefs kiss*). 

Add to oatmeal or overnight oats:

If you prefer a “heartier” meal at breakfast time, add a scoop of French Toast Collagen to your oats! I have tried this one myself and can attest that it is DIVINE. You get the delicious french toast flavor paired with the satiety of the oats and added protein.


1 scoop French Toast Collagen

½ - 1 cup of rolled oats

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tbsp maple syrup

½ cup milk of choice (overnight oats only)

Optional: peanut butter and fresh fruit for topping

Directions for hot oatmeal: 

  • Cook your oats as directed on the packaging.
  • Add in the vanilla extract, cinnamon, and maple syrup and combine well.
  • Slowly mix in the collagen.
  • Top with peanut butter and/or fresh fruit if you’d like and ENJOY! 

Directions for overnight oats: 

  • Add milk to a mason jar or bowl that has a lid.
  • Slowly mix in the collagen.
  • Add in vanilla extract, maple syrup, and cinnamon.
  • Stir the rolled oats into the mixture.
  • Place in the fridge overnight or until you’re ready to eat.
  • Top with your toppings of choice and ENJOY!

Pour over cereal:

Where are my Millennials at?! Pretty sure we were raised on cartoons and cereal. I distinctly remember waking up on Saturday mornings, plopping my behind down in front of the TV, and crunching on my favorite bowl of cereal while my parents were still in bed.

Now I don’t know about you, but I still LOVE to enjoy cereal from time to time. Except I spruce it up a bit by combining a scoop of collagen or protein into the milk and pouring it over my cereal. This way I can have my cereal and hit my protein goals too! Just imagine pouring French Toast Collagen milk over your cinnamon cereal. Are you drooling yet?
